NFBKC: 72 competitors, $15,000 Overall, $9,500 League

I am actually shocked by the lack of sign-ups for the Main Event (or Classic), whatever we are calling it nowadays (for the record, I am good with the branding of the Classic for consistency amongst all sports, but the hyper-sensitive baseball guys, as always, are against any type of change, because by nature they are traditionalists and, as such, reflexively abhor any type of change and their protestations should be ignored by default of their lack of progressiveness, but I digress....though I am sure there are more flip-phone cell phone types in the baseball crowd than the others, just sayin')

6 Leagues, 72 contestants. $1250 Entry Fee. $9,500.00 in League Prizes. $15,000.00 Overall Prize. Hello?????

You will not find these type of odds anywhere. Fantasy Basketball is the new football. I signed up for a second League simply to have another shot with these incredible odds.

At least 11 draft champions leagues out of thin air ain't bad right? The format is brand new technically for basketball.

Correct, this is our first year trying the NFBKC Draft Champions League and with any luck we'll finish with a dozen full leagues. Next year we need to get these rolling in July and get them going before the live fantasy football drafts occur. We know it's tough for folks to do hoops and football study during the summer, but there's still a market for hoops drafts before mid-September. We'll grow this format in future years and get that grand prize to rise as well.

You are right, the NFBKC Main Event is a contest we are pushing hard with a solid overall prize structure. There are still a lot of guys who competed in this contest last year who haven't signed up yet, so look for a solid week of signups next week for this contest. Our die-hard players will be back and we'll finish with nice numbers for this contest and the Rotowire Fantasy Basketball Online Championship. Let the Games Begin!! :D
