Welcome To The NFBKC Draft Champions League

We are proud to introduce a new contest to the NFBKC this season: The NFBKC Draft Champions National Championship.
This is a format that has been EXTREMELY well received in football and baseball where this past year we had more than 1,000 Draft Champions teams in each sport. We believe this will be well received in basketball as well. The DCs have $1,200 in league prizes and an overall grand prize of $2,500. Entry fees are $150 per team, with $25 from each team going to fun the overall prize pool.
The concept is simple and a great entry point for new players. It's also a great prep for all players who are competing in bigger dollar drafts later in the year because it gives you great knowledge of the deep player pool. Here's the concept:
** 12 team leagues, $150 per team
** 25-round drafts using Third Round Reversal (1-12, 12-1, 12-1 then 1-12, 12-1 from that point on)
** KDS is used so that you can tell us your draft preferences before we randomly pick the draft order
** Once the leagues fill, drafts start the next day at 5 pm ET. Draft preferences have a deadline of midnight the night the league fills and draft spots are then emailed to all owners the next morning. The draft then starts at 5 pm ET
** Each owner then has 8 hours to make their pick with every pick being emailed to each owner. You aren't tied to a computer in this format and when you're ready to make your pick you can. We ask all owners to try to keep things moving well, but these leagues should be done in 10-12 days
** Once your team is drafted, your only job is to set the right starting lineup each Monday. There are no in-season pickups; what you draft is what you have for the whole season, thus the deep rosters of 25 players.
** Teams compete within their league for the Top 3 league prizes and against all teams in this format for the overall prizes. Standings for the league and the overall prizes will be showcased on your team pages in real-time.
** You can draft as many times as you'd like, so enjoy.
It's a fun format and one that won't tax you for too much time during the season. Jump on in and spend the next couple of weeks in a social network of fantasy basketball die-hards and you will not only enjoy yourself but you could win some serious money, too. Welcome aboard and welcome to the NFBKC Draft Champions National Championship.
